The reception at Mon Cheri on May 19, 2023, had 30 soft white uplights, a sub and four speakers. The room reveal played to Daniel Caesar, the private first dance had cold sparklers, and the grand entrance ran from G-funk into “All of the Lights” with the sparklers on the first chorus.
Dinner ran on Tagalog love songs, classics and R&B. Table greetings got a 90s pop sing-along and a Cambodian set, and the second half of the night moved through crunk, Bay Area hyphy and EDM.
