DJ Buddy is an open-format DJ with over 25 years of experience, getting his start in 1997. Known for blending hip-hop, R&B, funk, disco, house, pop, and throwback hits from the ’70s to today, he brings versatility and deep musical knowledge to every set.

His favorite events include corporate functions, weddings, and backyard boogies — anywhere people are ready to have a good time. With a smooth, high-energy style and a strong ability to read the crowd, DJ Buddy keeps dance floors packed and energy flowing from start to finish.

DJ Buddy gave us a questionnaire to find out exactly what music to play during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and more. We mostly like R&B and hip-hop, but any song from any genre we could think of he had — and if not, he was easily able to get it. His attention to detail was on point every single step of the way. Not only is DJ Buddy remarkable with the 1’s and 2’s, but he’s an excellent MC as well. He knows how to get the crowd laughing, pumped, and excited. There was never a dull moment during the reception. Right before the wedding started, my wife and I were stressing out about the event, and DJ Buddy came up to us and simply asked how we were doing and if he could help with anything. That simple act alone meant so much to us.

When he’s not DJing, Buddy is into interior design. He’s designed music studios, living rooms, and even a jewelry store.
