Know the venue

Planning your Ebell of Long Beach wedding

The Ebell of Long Beach is a 1920s Spanish Revival clubhouse at 290 Cerritos Avenue, near downtown Long Beach. Your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception can all happen on site: guests gather in the covered courtyard and parlors, and the ballroom holds a seated reception of up to about 210 guests. Amplified music stays indoors under the venue’s sound guidelines, so we confirm those details and your end time with the coordinator during planning. See our South Bay and Long Beach wedding DJ page for more.

Questions

The Ebell of Long Beach Wedding DJ FAQ

Have you worked at The Ebell before?

Yes. DJ Wrex played 3 weddings there in summer 2023.

Can you cover the ceremony and reception in different areas?

Yes. Ceremony sound is set up where you say your vows, and a second system can cover cocktail hour in another space.

Do you know the Ebell’s vendor rules?

Yes. Vendors load in through the main entrance on Cerritos Avenue, and there’s no parking in the alley. We send our certificate of insurance to the venue ahead of time.

Can a pianist or other live musician play the ceremony?

Yes. They handle the ceremony, and we take over for cocktail hour and the reception.

How do we check availability?

Send your date through the contact form. DJ Wrex plays one event per day.
