David and Marissa met as members of the wedding party at a sister’s wedding. David once said he’d never leave Lake Tahoe, then moved away for Marissa. In May 2025 they brought 110 guests from the Bay Area, Southern California, New York, New Jersey and Colorado back to the lake.
The ceremony started at 3pm on the water at Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge in Tahoe City. We set up the DJ booth with the lake behind it, and before the reception started the groomsmen took over the turntables for photos.
