Travel expenses (added to your invoice):

Flying in: round-trip flight, 2 hotel nights, and ground transportation (airport to hotel and back, hotel to venue and back)
Driving in: 1 hotel night plus gas/mileage

Sound, microphones and lighting

Within driving distance (like Las Vegas): DJ Wrex brings his full sound, microphone and lighting setup.

Flying in: Sound, microphones and lighting are provided and set up by a local DJ, entertainment or production company, or by your venue. The rental is billed through Synergy Events on your invoice, and DJ Wrex reviews and approves the equipment list. If your venue already has a sound system, let us know and we’ll adjust your quote.

Payment

A 50% retainer reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event.

Out-of-Town & Destination Wedding FAQ

1. How many people do we need to fly out?
Just DJ Wrex. If your guest count or wedding program calls for an assistant, the assistant is included in the price. He flies out a day in advance so he has time to scout the venue and is on time on your wedding day. His return flight is usually the day after your event, preferably later in the day.

2. Do I need to book the flights?
No. DJ Wrex books his own flights. If you’d like to use your travel miles or rewards instead, please send him the flight details before booking so he can approve the times, transfers and layovers. Flights you book yourself won’t be charged on your invoice. DJ Wrex flies in the day before your event, so travel covers 2 hotel nights.

3. Will DJ Wrex bring his equipment?
If DJ Wrex is flying out to your location:
He brings only what he can carry (laptop, headphones, music, etc.). Sound, microphones and lighting are provided and set up by a local DJ, entertainment or production company near your venue, or by the venue itself.

If DJ Wrex is driving out to your location:
Yes. He brings his full sound, microphone and lighting setup.

4. Is there a way to lower the total cost?
Your total depends on what’s already provided. If your venue has a sound system that meets the rider below, there’s no sound rental. If you book the flights with your own miles, there’s no flight charge. Send us your details and we’ll put together your quote.

5. What is DJ Wrex’s equipment rider?

2 x Technics turntables in 100% working condition
1 x Pioneer DJM-S7 or DJM-S11 mixer
1 x DJ booth monitor speaker
2 x DJ speakers
2 x subwoofers (optional)
2 x mic boom stands
2 x wireless microphones
1 x 6–8 ft table for the DJ setup
Dedicated power outlet at the DJ booth
XLR cables from the mixer to the speakers
Enough lighting for the dance floor

The rental company sets up all equipment.
