Somis
DJ Wrex has played 3 weddings at Hartley Botanica since 2021. He knows the garden layout and how sound carries outdoors there.
Know the venue
Hartley Botanica is a private three-acre botanical estate in Somis, used for garden weddings, with Paliuli Gardens and the Lotus Tea Garden.
Ceremony, cocktails and reception are all outdoors. Couples we have worked with held cocktail hour on the lawn or in the Lotus Tea Garden, and we plan speaker placement so music reaches each area without overpowering the garden.
Recent weddings
Jesseann + Jeff, June 2021. Ray on the Mic was officiant and MC. Jesseann said she was on the dance floor all night, and the last song was Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby.”
August 2021. Cocktails in the Lotus Tea Garden, with amber uplighting for dinner and color for dancing.
April 2026. A spring wedding with a marker artist for guests instead of a photo booth.
Vendors we’ve worked with here: Bella Dia Weddings (coordination), Command Catering (catering), Ray on the Mic (officiant and MC), Autumn Nicole (photography), DP Weddings (video).
